Care Packages for Deployed Soldiers

Dear All,

Once again, our Peer Leaders are working with the West Point-based organization The Boodle Brigade to pack and send as many care packages as possible overseas to deployed soldiers during the holiday season.  We need donations of supplies to help soldiers feel loved and appreciated and give them a little piece of home.   While you are out shopping or clicking away on Amazon, consider purchasing some of the items listed in the image below.  Your HKMS student can bring all items into their morning meeting classrooms where donation boxes are located.

Not a shopper?  We still need your help!  Shipping each box overseas costs $35.  Consider making a monetary donation to help cover shipping costs for the care packages.  You can donate online through the HKMS PTO website.  You need to log into the PTO website first, then locate the link called HKMS Donation Veterans Day Holiday Care Package

HKMS students will write letters and make cards for us to include in each care package, sending words of gratitude and love to these soldiers.

Please consider helping us with our mission to bring joy to the bravest among us!

Sincerely,
Annie Mohr
