Research Assessment:
Science and Research Process Skills
Weather Poster
- Getting Started:
Over the past 10 to 20 years, the knowledge gained in meteorology has increased dramatically, mostly because of the strides made in technology. Scientists use this technology to do research, making these advancements in meteorology possible. They ask themselves questions like: what is the air made of? How can we improve weather forecasts? What causes strong storms like hurricanes and tornadoes?
Task Definition/Problem:
To synthesize and evaluate the composition and structure of the atmosphere, including energy transfers, the nature of weather and climate, and the effect of the atmosphere on human activity.
Final Product:
An oral presentation with a visual that supports your research
