1. Eighth Grade Government: Elections were held on Friday, September 25, 2009. Congratulations to the following students:

2. Extracurriculars: This year all teacher advisors for extra-curricular activities wil be posting activity information on a single extra-curricular web page. The purpose of this web page will be two-fold. As a parent  you may view all activitites made available by your generous donations this past summer as well as see specific news regarding an activity your child may be interested in joining. Activitiy advisors will be updating their activity link as needed to comunicate information to you and your child. When your child begins his/her participation in an activity, please refer to this webpage for relevant information and updates.

You may find this web page by choosing the link listed on the current HKMS webpage. It is called "Extra-Curricular Activitites and Updates."

I am excited to report that our HKMS web page will be all new and improved by the end of next week.

3. Free tommorrow evening, Wednesday, September 30th? Come by HKMS Media Center at 7:00pm. to learn about the impact of Scientific Research-Based Interventions (SRBI) and the new LD Guidelines.

4. Car Wash: Saturday, October 3rd: Stop by the Easton EMS building this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Have your car washed by the energetic members of our Gang Green club and the Kids Who Care club.

5. HKMS Ski Club Registration, Thursday, October 15th

We are pleased to announce changes to our Ski Club program for Keller students.   Skiing will take place at Mt. Sundown in New Hartford on Fridays, January 5th, 14th, 29th and February 5th.  Official registration is Thursday, October 15th at the Easton Library Community Room starting at 7:30 PM.  Registrations will only be accepted at this meeting and are first come, first served.   Space is limited.  If you cannot make the meeting, please send in your forms with another parent.  A brief meeting will take place during registration for newcomers.  Contact: LBurghardt@aol.com for more info.
