Students will design and assume responsibility for the publication of the HKMS Yearbook.  This activity gives students experience in copy-writing, layout and publication strategies.

Eligibility:    
This activity is open all students in grades 6 to 8.

None

Time/Date:   
The Yearbook Staff usually meets before school on Tuesday, 7:30 to 8:00, in the media center.  Staff may also work on their assigned pages at home if they are unable to make the morning meeting.

Student Responsibility:   
Consistent effort is the main requirement for yearbook staff.  Students are required to complete their assigned pages and meet deadlines. 

Students also need their own digital camera and ability to upload the pictures to the Herff-Jones/Helen Keller Middle School Yearbook website.

Students must also be willing/able to attend after school events and other club meetings to take pictures.
