HOLOCAUST HEROES

TASK:

1. Students will watch the video from Whitwell Middle School, located in Whitwell, Tennessee.
2. Students will write a letter to the students of Whitwell Middle School, reflecting on the depth of their project and the impact it had on them personally.
   • Consider the location of the school
   • Consider the make-up of the town
   • Reflect on the obstacles the students faced
   • Talk about the qualities and attitudes that made the project a success
   • Explain to the students how you will convince your parents that a visit to Whitwell Middle School would be worthwhile
   • Use correct letter-writing format, including spelling and grammar.
   • Sign the letter with only your first name
   • Save letters to Student Work - 21st Century - Whitwell Middle School - Period - First Name
