TASK:

A hero never thinks he is a hero. You have a golden opportunity here at HKMS to honor some heroes. These are men and women who sacrificed their own lives during the Holocaust to save people they oftentimes did not even know. These people are aging quickly and if we not remember them, their stories will be forgotten. Think about your reaction if your hero walked into our school today and you could meet him or her. We will feature these heroes on a symbolic wall of Honor, potentially with photos and digitally.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Consider the danger in which they put themselves and their own families.
  2. Consider the reasons they risked their own lives.
  3. Persuade your audience that your hero belongs in our Wall of Honor. Feel free to be emotional and personal in your convincing statements.
  4. Final product/presentation will have a maximum time limit of 2 minutes.
  5. Choices inlcude:
    • Public Service Accouncement
    • Brochure (Publisher)
